       This new approach to the Constitution is not actually "new".  The authors of the Constitution expected the average American of the 1780's to read and understand it. It would naturally follow that it is well within reach for the average American of the 21st Century.
      If the Constitution is to serve its purpose, you must read it for yourself and understand it.  This book will not tell you precisely what the Constitution says in detail, but it will convince you that this information is within your grasp, just by reading it for yourself.  You can already understand the Constitution, and this book is written in the hope that I can convince you that it is vitally important that you do.
